Travel vicarious and literal beckons readers in the upcoming week. Diane Stresing, an authority on hiking Northeast Ohio, has a new edition of her popular guide and Nayana Currimbhoy will chat about writing a murder mystery set at a boarding school in western India, where she was once a student.

The jewel in the crown is Harriett Logan’s creation of Author Alley at the Larchmere Festival Saturday, July 2. Last year’s gathering was beguiling, and this year promises more literary insights, with the participation of Ohio City Writers and an editor for the new online magazine, the Cleveland Review.
