King Neptune Ceremony on Veendam
Posted by Ellie CousensApr 12
Here are photos from Veendam’s King Neptune ceremony that took place on April 5. The King Neptune Ceremony is done when crossing the equator and ‘pollywogs’ (those who have never crossed the equator before) get to meet King Neptune. This year’s ‘pollywogs’ had to “kiss the fish” and where covered in sloop, in order to see another day on board the Veendam! Special thanks to Photo Manager James for the images and Event Manager Jana for the content.
